The Midnight Screenings at the 78th Festival de Cannes once again offer an unfiltered dive into genre cinema, provocative storytelling, and cinematic adrenaline.

Ethan Coen returns solo with Honey Don’t, a madcap neo-noir likely to leave audiences wide-eyed. Vincent Maël Cardona’s Le Roi Soleil revisits royal myth with punk energy, while Yann Gozlan’s Dalloway reimagines Woolfian elegance as psychological thriller.

Asia delivers the surreal and electric with Exit 8 by KAWAMURA Genki and Feng Lin Huo Shan (Sons of the Neon Night) by Mak Juno, diving into urban dystopia and political unrest.

Always the domain of fearless filmmaking, Midnight Screenings this year push genre boundaries with daring visual flair and subversive spirit.
